Versions: Standard v1.0 vs Premium 2.0

  • Standard uses 4mm neoprene, Premium uses 6mm. This makes the bumper edges 8-9mm on the standard, and 12-13mm on the Premium.
  • Standard uses a 2mm black steel buckle with a 100lb weight limit. The Premium uses a 6mm stainless steel buckle with a 500+ lb weight limit.
  • Standard has raw, square edges on the short sides of the device, which can sometimes grab your shirt (harmlessly). Premium has curved edges with binding that will last longer and is more functional.

Specs, Dimensions and Care Instructions

  • Standard v1.0 Buckle Max Load is 100 LBS per arm/leg.
  • Premium 2.0 Buckle Max Load is 500 LBS per arm/leg.
  • The Support Plate can hold 500+ lbs under normal loading conditions.
  • Standard opening is 21.5" when fully expanded, if your leg just above the knee measures more than 18", please contact support for other options. An XL BETA version is in development.
  • Premium opening is 23" when fully expanded. Fits legs up to 20"
  • The Better-Fly is NOT intended to be worn on the mid-thigh or higher.
  • No latex is used in this product. The support plate is nylon. The strap is nylon and the top layer of the neoprene is polyester. The triangle is 304 stainless steel.
The Better-Fly Care Instructions
  • The neoprene is scuba-suit material and is completely waterproof.
  • Rinse it off in a sink or wipe it off with any non-abrasive cleaning agent.
  • Washing in a machine is not advisable.
  • The hard support plate is removable for cleaning.

How does The Better-Fly work when it doesn’t strap tightly onto your arm?

The unique design of The Better-Fly allows it to grip onto your arm with its interior rubber lining. The innovative BUCKLE allows the strap to be tightened to increase contact with your arm, but the BUCKLE is NOT meant to make contact with your arm or leg. If it does, you need to loosen the buckle or change the angle of the cable.

The main thing to remember is that any new device takes time to learn and understand. Various cable angles and standing positions will alter the effectiveness of the grip and the stability of the device. If you are encountering movement up or down your arm, adjust the buckle or the device's position on your arm or leg first, then adjust the pulley position of your cable machine, then adjust where you stand in relation to the the pulley.

By experimenting with these variables, you will find a position where The Better-Fly is secure and remains in place throughout your range of motion.

Do you ship WORLDWIDE? How long does shipping take?

Domestic US shipping for The Better-Fly is $7.50 and usually arrives within 2-3 days. If you buy the extenders with The Better-Fly, they will ship together for the same price. By themselves, the extenders ship for $5.

International shipping is partially covered by us (You're Welcome) so each country is added individually after pricing is determined. It is usually $25-35 USD and takes anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks.

What is the WARRANTY on The Better-Fly?

A ONE-YEAR WARRANTY is offered on the fabric materials and construction of The Better-Fly, including the strap, neoprene, and stitching. Certain restrictions apply. Please contact support if you believe you have a warranty claim.

A LIFETIME warranty is offered on the injection molded hard support plate and the logo covers. If your plate breaks under normal use, send it in and we will replace it for the life of your product.
